In addition to the contractual agreement with Eurowebteam, all .UK domain name are also subject to Nominet’s own terms & conditions, available at www.nominet.uk/go/terms.
Eurowebteam requires the name of the legal entity to whom the domain name should be registered to. Please also provide us with an accurate contact address (which will be published in the public Whois data via Nominet’s database systems, unless a domain name is purely used for personal use, in which case we will ensure you are opted-out of having your contact details published).
Most domain names are renewed on an annual basis, except .UK domain names, which are usually renewed on a biannual basis (but can be renewed up to ten years, in one-year increments). We will generally send out invoices 60 to 30 days prior to your domain name expiring. Any invoices will be send to the e-mail address on the account, and it is the registrant’s responsibility to make sure their contact details are up to date. If you do not wish to renew a domain name please make sure you contact us a minimum of 14 days before your domain name expires by e-mailing customer.support-AT-eurowebteam.eu. Unless requests to the contrary are received, all domain names are renewed no later than 3 business days from receipt of payment, and usually on the same day payment is received.
If you request that you no longer wish to have your domain name renewed by us, it will be left to expire and all services we provide regarding that domain name will be suspended. Your .UK domain name will then go into a 30 day protected period, after 30 days your domain name will be suspended by Nominet and it will go into a 60 day grace period. If you change your mind and still wanted to retain your domain name, you still can do so at the original renewal price. This must be requested by e-mail before the 80th day after your domain name has expired, as after 90 days your domain name will be cancelled and deleted from the register and made available for resale through any registrar by Nominet. Eurowebteam will not be able to renew a domain name after this happens, but we may be able to re-register it upon request.
If you no longer wish to carry on with your contract with Eurowebteam, please e-mail us no less than 35 days before your services are due to be renewed. Eurowebteam will not charge you for transferring a .UK domain name away to another Nominet registrar. The customer acknowledges that termination of the agreement for any reason will result in Eurowebteam ceasing to provide the applicable services, with the consequences that flow from such cessation, including (but not limited to), deletion of data, e.g. for website hosting, e-mail relay services and mailboxes.
